The George B. Mauch Memorial Fund
The Gerald R. Rusk Memorial Fund
The Vic Zang Memorial Fund
Student Requirements:
1. Must be enrolled in a FEF College adjacent to the Toledo Chapter,
unless a son/daughter of a chapter member or student works at a
foundry within the boundaries of the Toledo Chapter.
2. Must be a Junior or equivalent.
3. Must demonstrate a curriculum geared toward the foundry industry.
4. Must have an overall GPA of at least 2.5 on 4.0 scale.
5. Must be a candidate of a Bachelor or Master's degree.
6. Be recommended by student advisor or plant personnel manager.
7. No student who is awarded a scholarship may be awarded the same
scholarship twice.
Application Procedure:
1. Submit a letter to the Education Chairman by Dec. 1st.
2. The letter should:
a. Summarize the student's academic objectives.
b. Outline future career objectives.
c. Include student activities that are appropriate for
consideration.
Awarding:
1. Successful students will be notified in February.
2. Scholarships will be awarded at the March meeting or next business meeting.
3. The student, advisor and parents will be invited to the business
meeting as guests of the Toledo Chapter.
